If you're part of an active evaluation or review cycle—such as an annual review or merit evaluation—Scholarly makes it easy to access, complete, and submit your assigned materials.
How to Access Your Evaluation
There are two main ways to open your evaluation form:
1. From Your Dashboard
If you have an active review:
Your Dashboard will show a task labeled with the review cycle name.
Click this item to open your evaluation form directly.
This is the fastest way to access a review in progress.
2. From the Sidebar Menu
Alternately, to navigate to any of your evaluations:
Click the “Faculty Evaluations” tab in the left-hand sidebar.
You'll see a list of your current and past review cycles, including the Current Step and a link to the Evaluation Details.
Past evaluations won’t stay on your dashboard after submission, so the sidebar is your go-to for viewing previous cycles.
Navigating Your Evaluation Form
Once your evaluation is open, you’ll see three key areas:
1. General Information (Top of Page)
This includes:
The name of the evaluation
The due date
The evaluation period for which activity will be reported (e.g., January 1 – December 31, 2024)
Where relevant, support contact information for both your institution and Scholarly
2. Left Navigation Panel
The left-hand menu lists the sections you'll need to complete for your specific evaluation. These sections are configured by your institution and may include prompts for personal information, scholarly activities, narrative responses, or uploads.
As you move through the form:
You can complete the sections in any order and return to any section at any time using the menu on the left.
Track your progress by marking sections as complete
To add a check mark next to a section in the left navigation panel, check the "I have completed this section" box at the bottom of that section.
Until you do so, the section will remain unmarked, even if you have entered information.
3. Main Content Area
This is where you'll complete each section of the review. You may be asked to:
Confirm or update activities pulled in from your profile
Enter narrative responses in rich-text boxes
Upload documents such as your CV or supporting documentation
Some data (e.g., course evaluations or publications) may already be pre-filled from internal systems or external sources like Google Scholar or ORCID if your institution has that enabled.
🚗 Navigation Tips
Use the “Next” and “Previous” buttons at the bottom of each section to move sequentially.
Or jump directly to any section using the left navigation panel—there’s no required order.
